Who we are...

Fairhaven Acushnet Youth Baseball is a non-profit organization chartered through Cal Ripken Baseball and Babe Ruth Baseball with the purpose of promoting a high level of instructional, recreational, and competitive baseball for the youth of Acushnet and Fairhaven. Our goal is to provide the children of Acushnet and Fairhaven with a solid baseball foundation, focusing on teamwork, dedication, good sportsmanship, and competitive play.

Fairhaven Acushnet Youth Baseball had 500+ kids registered to play for the 2023 baseball season. As an organization, we offered baseball from T-Ball, Instructional, Minor, Major, and two levels of Babe Ruth competition. All games are played at Pope Park (Acushnet, MA) and Matty Olivera Baseball Complex on Shaw Road. (Fairhaven, MA)

Fairhaven Acushnet Youth Baseball League is an organization dedicated to providing young athletes with an opportunity to learn and grow through the sport of baseball. The mission statement of our league emphasizes the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.

The goal of our league is centered around providing safe and enjoyable experiences for all athletes and volunteers. This includes creating a positive and supportive environment for players to develop their skills, as well as fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among all members of the league.

We are committed to our youth and their development. This means providing opportunities for athletes to develop not only their baseball skills and IQ, but also their leadership abilities, their achievements, and their personal growth as an individual.

In order to achieve these goals, we rely on our coaches and volunteers throughout the league to be examples for our future young leaders. 

Also, through the generous donations and sponsorships receive each year we are able to provide the needed resources and support for all of our members, including equipment, facilities, and training opportunities.

Overall, Fairhaven Acushnet Youth Baseball league is focused on creating a positive and supportive environment where young athletes can develop their skills and grow as individuals. With the work of our dedicated coaches and volunteers prioritizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and youth development, the league can help foster a love of baseball and a sense of community among all members.
