SPRING 2023 FAIRHAVEN ACUSHNET YOUTH BASEBALL REGISTRATION DIRECTIONS
FAYB offers many recreational baseball levels to Fairhaven and Acushnet residents or participants who attend school in either town. Players from other towns can be accepted with league permission. FAYB is a chartered member of both Cal Ripken Baseball and Babe Ruth Baseball. Offerings run from ages 4 thru 18.
Initially, you must create an account when registering your player on Sports Engine. You will be brought to Sports Engine when you click on the registration link below. If you registered last year through Sports Engine, you would already have much of your information present. You will then be able to register your player. It will require you to fill out the required fields. Siblings have a $10 discount. The registration process will automatically deduct $10 for each of your players.
A rule of thumb is registering your player to play with his friends from school. There is little sense in registering your player to play with kids he or she does not attend school with.

Babe Ruth Baseball is for ages 13 to 16. Sixteen-year-old players are technically playing on a league waiver and cannot pitch. Generally, we have between 3 and 5 teams that compete in the Gateway Babe Ruth League. Home games are played at either Champions Field at Pope Park or Charpentier Field on Shaw Road in Fairhaven. Away games can range from New Bedford, Rochester, Wareham, Mattapoisett, Marion, Bourne, Sandwich, Martha's Vineyard, and other Cape destinations. (Cost is $160)
